I don't know what all that was about but someone really got to you there. You sound a very resonable person to me and it's great to hear that you are doing something about your weight.

Right, Paul ??, I'm now going to try and find this blog that started all this. Could be very interesting.

It's a wonder Wifey isn't already on the look out for a slimline model. Maybe she has met someone else who makes her feel 'good'.

Nor would you respect yourself if you started an affair with 'girl one'. In fact your guilt would probably cause you to hate Wifey. Then the kids would suffer.

A woman only needs half a brain to know that her husband has other desires. If you have evil inclinations have fun telling her about an imaginary playmate with sleek titian hair, flawless skin, sensuous lips and a disturbingly sexy, husky voice!

Of course Wifey is cold. Not only is she exhausted from work and the kids, but she possibly receives no affection from you.

You could try an intellectual exercise, one that demands discipline and dedication. Daily blogging about your life is hardly that.
Instead of being a house husband how about another job where you wouldn't feel dependent and depressed?

The romantic, unreal bit is over, and now you are the grown-ups. Being grown-up is hard. You are both tired and emotionally drained, and have little energy left for each other.
You have to find time to talk and talk and talk. You must both be honest about how you are feeling, but listen carefully to the other one. Display tenderness and affection - lots of touching, not just leading to sex.
Hang on in there.

In response to:Groundhog day.

You are not a failure! If so maybe the doctor or health visitor ( if they are called that these days)could help by giving you/or suggest something to ease thier gums. I can only imagine how difficult this time is for you as I have had only one child but hang in there I think you're doing a great job. Is it possible for you to take the twins to a creche (spelling) maybe one day a week so that it gives you a break and also give you some quality time with the toddler? As for Girl One we all have our dreams and fantasies and if this helps get you through the day then why not! take care and good luck, Linda

In response to:Just the same old stuff.

Hope wifey doesn't have a nervous break down before you do!
